The best cTrader brokers
Pepperstone is our top cTrader broker: it scores 92/100, holds ASIC, FCA, CySEC and DFSA licences, averaged 0.1 pips on Razor EUR/USD in August 2026 and charges a lower commission on cTrader ($6 round turn) than on MT4/MT5 ($7). IC Markets is the alternative for raw-spread traders who want the biggest instrument range. Only these two of the eight brokers we rank list cTrader, so this is a short list on purpose. All figures were verified November 2026.
Our picks
- Pepperstone: best overall, with top-tier regulation, a $6 round-turn cTrader commission and no minimum deposit.
- IC Markets: raw spreads averaging 0.1 pips, 2,850+ instruments and cTrader alongside MetaTrader and TradingView.
We did not pad the list. IG, Interactive Brokers, OANDA, Tickmill, Eightcap and XM do not list cTrader in our data, so they are not cTrader brokers for the purposes of this page.

1. Pepperstone: best cTrader broker overall
Pepperstone ranks first in our broker methodology at 92/100 and supports MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView and its own Pepperstone platform. Its Razor account averaged 0.1 pips on EUR/USD in August 2026, and the commission is $6 round turn on cTrader against $7 on MT4/MT5, so cTrader is the cheapest way to trade its raw pricing. There is no minimum deposit.
Regulation is strong: ASIC (AFSL 414530), FCA (684312), CySEC (388/20) and DFSA (F004356), plus SCB Bahamas. Clients in the UK, EU and Australia are covered by their local regulator and 30:1 retail leverage caps.
Drawback: it does not accept US residents, some international sign-ups may be placed with the offshore Bahamas entity, which has fewer protections, and it does not publish an instrument count.
2. IC Markets: best for range on cTrader
IC Markets (now branded IC) scores 88/100. Its Raw account averages 0.1 pips on EUR/USD with $7 round-turn commission on MT4/MT5, and it lists 2,850+ instruments. Alongside cTrader you get MT4, MT5, TradingView, IC Social and ZuluTrade. It has been operating since 2007.
Its ASIC (AFSL 335692) and CySEC (362/18) entities are top-tier, with 30:1 leverage.
Drawback: the global site, ic.com, onboards clients through Raw Trading Ltd, regulated by the FSA Seychelles, with leverage up to 1:5000 and fewer protections. That is why we rate its regulation "Mixed". Official pages give conflicting standard-account spreads, the minimum deposit is $200, and our data does not record its cTrader commission, so confirm it before you open an account. US residents are not accepted.
Worked example: round-turn cost on 1 lot EUR/USD
One standard lot of EUR/USD is 100,000 euros, where one pip is worth about $10. At Pepperstone's 0.1-pip Razor average, the spread costs about $1. Add the $6 cTrader commission and a round trip costs about $7. The same trade on Pepperstone's MT5 costs about $8 ($1 plus $7).
At IC Markets, a 0.1-pip average plus $7 on MT4/MT5 also comes to about $8. If you trade 20 lots a month, the $1 difference between Pepperstone's cTrader and MT5 pricing is about $20 a month. Use the pip value calculator to check other pairs, and read what spread means in forex.
If you want cTrader for a prop challenge
cTrader is more common among prop firms than brokers in our data. FTMO (91/100; MT4, MT5, cTrader), The5ers (86/100; MT5, cTrader, TradingView), FundedNext (85/100) and Funding Pips (79/100; MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader) all list it. E8 Markets and Alpha Capital Group also list cTrader, but Trustpilot has withheld both firms' ratings and recent reviews allege denied or rejected payouts. See prop firm vs broker for how the two models differ.
How we chose
We filtered our eight ranked brokers to those whose verified platform list includes cTrader, then ordered them by WizardTrader score. Broker scores weigh regulation (35), costs (25), platforms (15), access (10) and track record (15); see the methodology. Only Pepperstone and IC Markets passed the filter. For a broader platform comparison, see trading platforms compared or Pepperstone vs IC Markets.
What to check before you open an account
- The entity you sign with. Both brokers run offshore entities with much higher leverage and fewer protections. Confirm the regulator named on your account agreement.
- cTrader on your account type. Check that cTrader is available on the raw-spread account in your region.
- The cTrader commission. Pepperstone lists $6 round turn; confirm IC Markets' rate directly.
- Leverage. Retail clients under ASIC, FCA or CySEC are capped at 30:1. Read leverage and margin explained.
- US residency. Neither broker accepts US clients.
